The first photo of Tusshar Kapoor’s son Laksshya


The first picture of Tusshar Kapoor’s son Laksshya is out and the new born looks quite adorable. Grandpa and veteran actor Jeetendra was by the side of the baby.
Tusshar Kapoor becomes father to a baby boy through surrogacy. Highly ecstatic single father shared the good news to the world and he named his bundle of joy, Laksshya.
"I am thrilled to be a father! The paternal instincts in me have been overpowering my heart and mind for some time now. Therefore, I am thrilled beyond words to have Laksshya, now the greatest source of joy in my life," Tusshar, son of Bollywood actor Jeetendra, said in a statement.

Tusshar also thanked the medical team of Jaslok Hospital, Mumbai.
"By the greatness of god and the excellent medical team at Jaslok (hospital), parenthood is an option for many, who choose to be single parents," added the actor,
Jeetendra and Shobha Kapoor are thrilled to have their first grandchild.  
The proud grandparents said in a statement, “We could not be more excited to be grandparents to Laksshya, and are completely supportive of Tusshar’s decision. This is certainly a tremendous blessing, and an exciting time in our lives. Tusshar is a wonderful son, and he has proven, with responsibility, independence and kindness, that he will be a great father to Laksshya.”
Dr Firuza Parikh, Director of IVF and Genetics at the Jaslok Hospital and Research Centre, appreciated Tusshar's decision and dedication, she said, “I am impressed with Tusshar’s determination to be a father. He maintained a keen interest in the baby’s health at every stage. He will surely be a sensitive and nurturing parent. Recently, we have had many single men and women approved for parenthood. As a public figure, Tusshar’s brave and bold decision will open the field of assisted reproduction making it accessible to not just single parents, but also to many who fervently desire to have a baby.”
Earlier, superstar Aamir Khan and his wife Kiran Rao had their son Azad Rao Khan through surrogacy and also Shahrukh Khan and Gauri Khan's third child AbRam was born via surrogacy.

‘Rustom’: Akshay Kumar is dapper as Naval officer in this striking poster


Akshay Kumar revealed his Naval officer look in his upcoming film ‘Rustom’ earlier this year, and now the first poster of the film has also been released. The actor took to Twitter to release the poster.
“Rustom's patriotism & integrity were questioned. Did he fight back?#3DaysToRustomTrailer@Rustom_Film,” the ‘Airlift’ actor wrote with the poster on the micro-blogging site.
The poster has Akshay decorated as a Naval Commander sporting shades and a moustache and has the word ‘Patriot?’ written in red with a question mark across it. There is a faint image of a newspaper in the backdrop and has bullet marks on the title of the film. The poster also announces the release date of its trailer on Thrusday, June 30.
The movie is said to be based on the real incident of the infamous Nanavati case of 1959 in which Naval Commander Kawas Manekshaw Nanavati was charged with the murder of his wife’s lover and tried in court.
Akshay will be seen in the garb of a Naval officer for the first time. He has previously donned the uniformed look in ‘Holiday: A Soldier is Never Off Duty’ as an Army officer and in ‘Andaaz’ as and Air Force officer.
‘Rustom’ also stars Ileana D’cruz, Esha Gupta and Arjan Bajwa. It has been directed by Tinu Suresh and produced by Neeraj Pandey who has previously directed Akshay in ‘Special 26’ and ‘Baby’. The movie is slated to release on August 12 on the occasion of Independence Day.

Confirmed! It's Eid release for Salman Khan’s ‘Sultan’


The release date of superstar Salman Khan's highly anticipated film 'Sultan' has been confirmed. The sports drama will hit the silver screens on Wednesday, July 6, instead of a regular Friday release.
The movie’s director Ali Abbas Zafar took to Twitter and confirmed the news. “Sultan will release on 6th July 2016," the ‘Gunday’ maker tweeted.
Produced by Yash Raj Films, ‘Sultan’ is based on Haryanvi wrestler Sultan Ali Khan Cheema and his quest to prove himself by getting a spot in the Olympics. The movie comes with a powerful tagline that reads, ‘Wrestling is not a sport, it's about the fighting that lies within’.
Salman eassys the titular character of the wrestler. Anushka Sharma, who is cast opposite the ‘Dabangg’ actor, also plays the role of a wrestler named Aarfa. The movie also stars Randeep Hooda as a coach, and Amit Sadh.
Traditionally, Salman releases his new movies on the occasion of Eid, while Diwali is reserved for Shah Rukh Khan and Christmas slot is taken by Aamir Khan. Salman’s films like ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’, ‘Kick’, ‘Dabangg’, ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ have hit screens on Eid.
There have been exceptions to the rule though. Like Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Chennai Express’ came out on Eid in 2013, while Salman’s ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ was a Diwali treat last year.

Saif Ali Khan’s daughter Sara secretly engaged to beau Veer

Saif Ali Khan’s daughter Sara Ali Khan is very much in the news for her alleged affair with Veer Pahariya, the grandson of former Union Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde. The latest about their alleged affair is that Sara has secretly exchanged promise rings with Veer. The couple is very much in love and keen to take their relationship to the next level.
Sara and Veera are very serious about their relationship. Sara recently spotted outside a threate in Bandra for the special screening of 'Sairat' and as she got in her car, a ring could be clearly visible on her left hand.
Sara reportedly shared a few pictures on a social networking website with her boyfriend, praising Veer, she wrote, “he doesn't mind road ka dosa, he is super sensitive, and he's the kind of guy you want to walk on the beach with”.
Veer has studied in Dubai and aspires to become a pop singer. Sara too may follow the footsteps of her parents and get into films. In fact, she made news recently when rumours had surfaced that she would be making her Bollywood debut in the sequel of Karan Johar's ‘Student of the Year’ opposite Shahid Kapoor’s brother Ishaan Kattar. 

Nothing makes me happier than you, Ranveer to Deepika

There was a strong buzz that Ranveer Kapoor and Deepika Padukone are no longer couple and that they have parted ways. But the recent IIFA event tells an altogether different story. When Deepika Padukone shook legs on Ranveer’s Malhari song from ‘Bajirao Mastani’, the actor could not stop parsing his ladylove and when he collected best actor award with his Mastani, he got emotional.
In his acceptance speech, Ranveer said, "There is another special person I must thank. I was moved by her performance. She is the Leela to my Ram, Mastani to my Bajirao and I don’t know what’s next. Girl, you are so fine. Nothing makes me happier than you, I mean winning an award here with you."
When Deepika Padukone accepted the best actress award for ‘Piku’, she thanked the team and indirectly Ranveer Singh, "...I also thank my team and that special person, you know who you are," she said.
After winning the best actor trophy at IIFA, Ranveer expresses his joy on Twitter:-
The actor tweeted, "Leela to my Ram... Mastani to my Bajirao... Best Actress to my Best Actor ? @deepikapadukone #IIFA2016 Koi Shaq? (sic)."
The four-day gala event starts from June 23 and ends on June 26 celebrates the magic of Indian cinema at an Sapnish capital, Madrid. Shahid Kapoor and Farhan Akhtar hosted the show. It was filled with jokes, dance and music and awards. 

Salman Khan slapped with Rs 10 cr lawsuit for ‘raped woman’ remark

A gang-rape survivor from Haryana’s Hisar has filed a lawsuit against superstar Salman Khan and sought Rs 10 crore as damages, for the actor’s controversial remark comparing his experience of shooting for wrestling scenes in ‘Sultan’ with the plight of a “raped woman.”
The notice was sent to Salman at his residence at Bandra’s Galaxy Apartments on Saturday through the woman’s counsel Rajat Kalsan. The woman who is still undergoing mental trauma, in her complainant pointed out that she was deeply hurt by the actor’s comment and added that her image was tarnished.
"My client is passing through a very troublesome period of psychological trauma after hearing your statement. Your statement, dated 21-06-2016, is solely responsible for her mental and psychological degradation and she is in touch with a psychiatrist for counselling,'' advocate Kalsan of the Punjab and Haryana High Court stated in the legal notice.
"Your statement is wrong, illegal and against the spirit of the Constitution of India and you are liable for every type of civil, criminal liabilities," the notice further read.
The woman was kidnapped and allegedly rape by 10 people in Hisar four years ago. Her father committed suicide following the incident. Four out of 10 accused were sentenced to life imprisonment and the rape survivor had moved the Punjab and Haryana high court seeking death penalty for them. The rape survivor now works for an NGO working for rehabilitation of rape victims.
A leading daily quoted her as saying, “How can such a prominent personality use such words? I have lost everything and I am yet to come to terms with the trauma I have gone through. How could he take such things so lightly?”
“Unfortunately, he too has become part of all those for whom women folk, especially rape victims, are nothing more than objects. It's not just me but other victims who are part of our group are also disturbed due to the actor's statement," she added.
Salman had made the “raped woman” remark while describing his strenuous shooting schedule for ‘Sultan’. He was slammed on social media for his “insensitive” comment. His father Salim Khan had apologised on his behalf saying his son's intention was not wrong.
"Undoubtedly what Salman said was wrong...but his intention was not wrong," the veteran scriptwriter tweeted.

Ajay Devgn, Rohit Shetty hug and patch-up


After months of cold vibes, finally Ajay Devgn and director Rohit Shetty patched-up. The duo sorted out their differences and teamed up for the fourth instalment of the successful franchise, ‘Golmaal 4’. Ajay was deeply hurt with Rohit’s comment but recently they spoke and sorted out their differences.
On Thursday night, Ajay and Rohit met at the former’s Juhu bungalow and had a brief talk. Ajay told Rohit how he was hurt with all the rumours and Rohit also got emotional.
However, according to a source, the duo buried the past hatchet and both are now keen to work together. 'Golmaal 4' is likely to go on floors by the year-end.
Rohit was to remake ‘Ram Lakhan’ but it got shelved. Rohit and Ajay have worked together in ‘Zameen’, ‘Golmaal’ series and ‘Singham’.

Hrithik Roshan and Kangana Ranaut’s legal battle is not a thing of the past for the Greek God of Bollywood. Media might have stopped covering the issue or the ‘Queen’ actress might have moved on but the incident is still afresh in Hrithk’s mind.
At the recently held IIFA event, when the actor took the stage to answer questions, he confirmed how he had not forgotten about the legal tussle which took place only a few months ago. When asked, if he had moved on from the controversy Hrithik replied with, ""Nothing is behind me. It's in front of me and soon it will be in front of you."
The fight between Kangana and Hrithik all started in January when Kangana Ranaut, in an interview referred Hrithik as her “silly exe” in reply to a question about why she was dropped from ‘Aashiqui 3’. To this the ‘Krrish’ actor tweeted that he would Roshan tweeted preferably date the pope than dating the actress. This exchange of tweets further enhanced their fight and both sought legal help to resolve the issue.
Roshan slapped legal notice on Kangana for defaming him and sent a four-page legal notice to Ranaut, to which the actress responded with a 24-page missive of her own.
Since then both are indulged in abusing each other. Kangana’s emails to Hrithik were also leaked online and few pictures from Arjun Ramapl’s birthday party were also leaked on net to ascertain the allegations that the two actors made on one another.

Varun Dhawan living-in with girlfriend Natasha Dalal?

Varun Dhawan, who made his Bollywood debut with Karan Johar’s ‘Student of the Year’ in 2012, is going great guns professionally. He has to his credit critically acclaimed film ‘Badlapur’ and dance-based ‘ABCD 2’ among others. The actor has also reportedly purchased his own bachelor pad in a posh locatity.
Buzz is that Varun’s steady girlfriend Natasha Dalal has been planning to move in with him in his new apartment. A report in Pinkvilla attributed to a tabloid claimed that Natash and Varun, who have known each other since childhood, are indeed living together.
Apparently, Natasha is not too pleased with Varun’s fondness for his co-star and she is insecure about it. She has even asked the ‘Main Tera Hero’ actor to either get engaged or married before moving in together.
However, Varun doesn’t want to settle down yet as he feels he is too young to get married, but he doesn’t mind living-in, the report stated.
Varun may not have admitted to his relationship with Natasha, but the two are often spotted together at various movie screenings and private parties.
On the work front, Varun is gearing up for the release of his film ‘Dishoom’ which also stars John Abraham, Akshaye Khanna, Jacqueline Fernandez and Saqib Salem. Directed by his elder brother Rohit Dhawan, the action-adventure film is slated to release on July 29.
He is also shooting for Karan Johar’s production ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’ opposite Alia Bhatt. The film is a sequel of 2014 film ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania

Saif Ali Khan undergoes surgery, Kareena visits hubby in hopsital


Saif Ali Khan was reportedly hurt while shooting an action sequence for his home production. He was immediately rushed to Mumbai Kokilabein hospital. The ‘Phantom’ actor severely injured his thumb while shooting for his home production directed by Akshat Verma. 
The Nawab was immediately rushed to the Kokaliben Ambani Hospital where he underwent a minor surgery. He was being taken care of by a specialised team of orthopaedic and plastic surgeons headed by Dr. Quazi Ahmad. The plastic surgeon refused to divulge any details about the treatment.
"He will be discharged tomorrow or day after tomorrow," said a source.
Saif's sister, Soha Ali Khan confirmed the incident, and told PTI, "He is recovering well, thank you for asking - had hurt his thumb quite badly but is on the mend happily."
She also added that Saif will be discharged in accordance with his doctors' advice.
"Yes (he was admitted) in the early hours of yesterday (Saturday, June 25), as for release, doctor will advice but not today (Sunday, June 26)" she told PTI.
Stressed and bit worried Kareena Kapoor Khan for her hubby, the actress was spotted walking out of Kokaliben Ambani Hospital earlier today after visiting her husband.
