Trailer of Vikram Shankar’s ‘Jab Tum Kaho’ Out Now

Mumbai, January 30, 2016: The trailer of Vikram Shankar’s upcoming film, ‘Jab Tum Kaho’ was launched at an event in Mumbai. Present at the launch were actors Pravin Dabas, actress Ambalika Sarkar who play the lead pair in the film along with the producer Rajiv Kumar and director Vikram Shankar. They not only revealed the trailer of the film but also gave those present a glimpse of the teasers.

‘Jab Tum Kaho’ is a romantic comedy that deals with the concept of blind dating. In today’s world, where the concept is extremely popular among the youth, it hasn’t been portrayed in the films enough. Speaking about his debut venture, director Vikram Shankar says, “ Jab Tum Kaho is a story that almost every man will relate to. From the time the script was being developed, to the casting, I have tried my best to keep it based in reality so that everyone who watches it can connect to the characters and the series of life events.”
‘Jab Tum Kaho’ has been directed by Vikram Shankar and stars Pravin Dabas, Ambalika Sarkar and Shirin Guha in pivotal roles. It has been produced by Vikram Shankar and Rajiv Kumar with music by Shankar Mahadevan and Mohit Chauhan. The film is set for release on February 26, 2016.

Biomatiques Introduces Retina Recognition For Cattle Identification At The e-governance Symposium In Tirupati

Mumbai, 29th January 2016: Biomatiques Identification Solutions Pvt. Ltd. introduced “Retina Recognition Technology” for cattle identification at the e-governance symposium which took place in Tirupati on Friday. It thus became the first Indian company to do so. In India the concept of animal identification is not new however the methods that are used are either outdated or can be tampered around with easily. There are so far only 12 other companies in the international market which offer iris recognition as method for biometric identification. On similar grounds, Biomatiques has now come up with “Cattle UID” - retina biometric technology for identifying cattle. With this every cattle can be given a unique ID which will qualify them for insurance which will be a complete relief for dairy farmers, government and insurance companies alike.

“RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) ear tags, ear marking, neck tagging with transponders, branding using hot iron or freezing methods, paint and tattoos are some of the methods used worldwide which pose serious health hazards to the bovines across the globe, something which does not occur in retina recognition. Just like iris recognition method for humans, retina identification is also a contact less technology. Biomatiques has managed to supply 33,310 iris scanning devices so far to Andhra Pradesh Govt. which will be used in various sectors like education, pension and ration distribution, a number  which no other company has managed to achieve so far in India. Andhra Pradesh as a state is putting to effect the application of ICT (Information and Communications Technology) to government functioning very rapidly in order to create smart governance. It is one of the leading states in terms of e-Governance.

Voice, fingerprints, face, gait and palm recognition are some of the methods which are slowly becoming obsolete. Iris patterns are far more random and unique. An algorithm is created to map the random pattern and then generate a unique biometric template for human identification which is unique for every individual. Run for Vatan’, the first mini-marathon organized by Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited was held on Sunday 24 January 2016 at Marine Drive, Mumbai. The event in which over 2000 persons participated was flagged off by Shri Arvind Sawant Member Of Parliament - South Mumbai-the Chief Guest, Rear Admiral (Retd) R.K. Shrawat, Chairman and Managing Director Mazagon Dock Shipbuildesr Ltd and Ms Shaina NC- the Guest of Honour at 0730 hours. The mini-marathon was conducted as per directive of Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi, conveyed through the Ministry of Defence, to create a patriotic mood across the country.

Mumbai, January 28, 2016: Honourable Chief Minister of Maharashtra Shri. Devendra Fadnavis inaugurated TV Journalist Association (TVJA) New Year Calendar 2016, recently at Sahyadri Guest House, Mumbai.
Prominent amongst others who were present on the occasion included Chief Secretary of Maharashtra Mr. Swadhin Kshatriya, TVJA- President Mr. Vilas Athavale, TVJA-General Secretary Mr. Mayur Parikh and the whole TVJA committee members.
“We understand that journalists' need more freedom in sync with changing times and hence we will evaluate and accept genuine demands. However, there is need of an hour that journalists should show more alertness about how they cover important issues. They shouldn't indulge in mindless criticism of government on petty issues.” Fadnavis said in a brief speech.
TVJA has handed over cheque of Rs.25, 000/- to Chief Minister in the name of Jalyukt Shivar Abhiyaan for drought-affected farmers in Maharashtra.
During this function, TVJA has also expressed their concern about security and demanded some necessary facilities for TV journalists and video journalists.

Prince Narula’s conviction bears fruit; walks away with the Bigg Boss Double Trouble trophy!

Today, after three months of drama and sheer entertainment, it’s finally time to draw curtains on Bigg Boss Double Trouble. And after a stay of more than 100 days, Prince Narula has been declared the winner of Bigg Boss Nau proving that tireless grit and determination does indeed reap fruitful results! Walking away with the coveted Bigg Boss trophy, presented to him by host Salman Khan, and prize money of Rs.35 lakh, Prince Narula celebrated the joyous moment in the presence of his family members, friends and fellow contestants. While Prince Narula won the most audience support and appreciation, Rishabh Sinha was declared as the first runner-up and Mandana Karimi came in at third spot.
