Rapper-actor Yo Yo Honey Singhwas allegedly in a rehab and was out of action for some time. In his absence, other rappers came to the fore and Badshah is one of them who has struck a chord with the listeners with many a hits.
Now, Honey Singh is back, but he is least threatened by Badshah’s success. The ‘Lungi Dance’ singer compared himself to a Rolls Royce while claiming that Badshah is just a Nano car.
Honey Singh will be seen as an actor in the upcoming Punjabi film ‘Zorawar’. At the trailer launch of the romantic flick, the rapper was asked about his opinion about his competitor Badshah. To this he replied, “There's a difference between Rolls Royce and a Nano.”
Honey Singh and Badshah shared a good bond in the past and collaborated on various songs like ‘Get up Jawani’ and ‘Khol Botal’. Badshah launched his first single in 2006 with Honey. The duo had worked together for six years until 2012 after which they decided to go separate ways.
While Honey Singh was away from the music scene, Badshah filled the gap with chartbusters like ‘Abhi Toh Party Shuru Hui Hai’, ‘DJ Waale Babu’ and the recent ‘Kar Gayi Chull’ from ‘Kapoor & Sons’.
Honey also spoke about his alleged drug abuse rehabilitation and said that he was suffering from sleep disorders and that kept him away for 18 months.
He also dismissed rumours about his tiff with superstar Shah Rukh Khan. “Nothing like that happened. We have great relations with each other. I met him after one-and-a-half years at an award function (Mirchi Music Awards 2016), we couldn’t meet earlier,” he told reporters.
Meanwhile, his film ‘Zorawar’ is slated to release on May 6. Honey Singh was earlier seen in 2014 Bollywood film ‘The Xpose’’.
