Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor is busy shooting for his upcoming film ‘Rangoon’. The period romance set in the backdrop of World War II, currently being shot in Arunachal Pradesh.
Shahid plays the role of a soldier in the love-triangle film which also stars Kangana Ranaut and Saif Ali Khan. The ‘Haider’ actor was recently spotted shooting for a crucial scene for the movie at the Pasighat (Kamalighat) in the Northeastern state.
Shahid was seen sporting a heavy beard and he looked damn hot. The actor was also spotted shooting at various locations in the region. A few days ago he was seen shooting amidst a huge crowd at a railway station in Northeast, according to an ANI report.
Kangana plays the role of an actress named Julia in the film. Her look in the film is partly inspired by Hollywood icon Marilyn Monroe. She has also cut off her long tresses to resemble the blonde actress. Saif will be seen in the role of a filmmaker and mentor of Kangana’s character. The ‘Phantom’ actor sports a 1940s look with thin moustache and form-fitting clothes.
Directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, ‘Rangoon’ is slated to hit theatres on September 30.
