Big B walks Delhi streets unrecognised for ‘Pink’ shoot

Amitabh Bachchanupcoming project with Soojit Sircar is titled ‘Pink’ and not ‘Eve’ as speculated earlier. The shooting for the film has already kick started in New Delhi, but no one recognised Big B as he walked the busy streets of the capital. The ‘Piku’ actor revealed these on the social media.
The 73-year-old actor was amazed at the “masked wonders” and happy with the state of “oblivion”. The ‘Wazir’ actor shared a string of photographs on his official blog in which he is seen walking the city streets and busy junctions wearing khaki trousers and a loose black jacket and his face is covered with a training mask.
Sharing his experiences, Amitabh Bachchan wrote, “The masked wonder on the streets of crowded Delhi and ne’er an eye is raised...this is what life is all about ‘buddy’. It’s called indifference, unrecognisable, and even if recognisable not interested in recognising.”
In one of the images, Big B is seen with a street-dog nearby. He shared, “See what I mean ... this is one of the most crowded and busy crossings in my part of the city ... and... no problem. Except for this fellow. Few and far...and the oblivion persists.”
Amitabh Bachchan also praised the make-up artist for the efforts. “The make-up artist does supreme ... the hours of work on the face sublime and the efforts made to carry forward a story, simply stupendous,” he wrote.
National Award-winning Bengali director Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury will be making his Bollywood debut with ‘Pink’. The social-thriller is being produced by Soojit Sircar and also stars ‘Baby’ actress Taapsee Pannu.
‘Pink’ is slated for release on September 16.
