Pareeniti poses with McConaughey; Akshay clicks selfie with Salma Hayek

Bollywood stars Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchanand Parineeti Chopra enjoyed a gala time with Hollywood stars Matthew McConaughey and Salma Hayek on Sunday night in Dubai. The actors had converged in the city for privilege dinner in support of ‘Teachers Matter’ initiative, which honours teachers from around the globe.    Pakistani singer-actor Ali Zafar, Korean-American singer Eric Nam, Moroccan singer Hatim Ammor and Matthew McConaughey’s wife Camilla Alves were present at the event.Akshay Kumar posed for a selfie with Salma Hayek and shared it on his social media with the caption, “Selfie of a lifetime... Honouring all the Teachers around the World, #TeachersMatter in Dubai! @salmahayek.”

Parineeti too had her ‘fan-girl’ moment with the Oscar-winning Matthew McConaughey, but Abhishek and Akshay spoiled it, much to her dismay.

The ‘Ishqzaade’ actress shared the picture and captioned it, “Rab ne bana di jodiiiii .. Me and @McConaughey !!! But photobombed !!! @juniorbachchan @akshaykumar."

Adding to the fun, Matthew joined the Bollywood stars and shook a leg with them on some Bollywood tracks. After their performance, the stars posed for selfies too.

Ali Zafar, who has made a name in Bollywood as well, shared the snapshot on his Twitter timeline. "Performing at @GESForum in Dubai for a great cause ! @salmahayek @juniorbachchan @MathewMcConahey @ParineetiChopra," the ‘Tere Bin Laden’ actor posted with the image.

The ‘Teacher Matter’ awards an amount of one million dollar to an exceptional teacher for hisor her outstanding contribution in the profession. Ten finalists attended the winner-announcement ceremony on Sunday night at the Global Education and Skills Forum (GESF). This will be followed by an invite-only red-carpet and gala event at Dubai’s Atlantis, The Palm, where celebrities will show their support.

Meanwhile, Parineeti will be seen in Yash Raj Films' ‘Meri Pyari Bindu’ opposite Ayushmann Khurrana. Akshay and Abhishek are busy with ‘Housefull 3’ which also features Riteish Deshmukh, Jacqueline Fernandez, Lisa Haydon and Nargis Fakhri.

Akshay will also be seen in ‘Rustom’ co-strring Ilena D’Cruz, which is scheduled to release on August 12.
