Run for Vatan’, the first mini-marathon organized by Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited was held on Sunday 24 January 2016 at Marine Drive, Mumbai. The event in which over 2000 persons participated was flagged off by Shri Arvind Sawant Member Of Parliament - South Mumbai-the Chief Guest, Rear Admiral (Retd) R.K. Shrawat, Chairman and Managing Director Mazagon Dock Shipbuildesr Ltd and Ms Shaina NC- the Guest of Honour at 0730 hours. The mini-marathon was conducted as per directive of Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi, conveyed through the Ministry of Defence, to create a patriotic mood across the country.
