Indian cricket’s pin-up boy Virat Kohli, who is in the news for his terrific performance at the recently concluded Asia Cup as well as his break-up with actress Anushka Sharma, has made a heart-warming gesture to make the women folk feel special.
The 27-year-old right hander, who has been nursing a heartbreak following his separation with girlfriend Anushka, has said sorry to all the women on the occasion of International Women’s Day on March 8.
Virat took to his social media page to post a picture of him with folded hands and the word ‘Sorry’ written on it. He captioned the picture, “To all the women and the young girls out there, sorry for the jerks, the whistlers, the cat callers, the blank callers, the wont stop starers, the "frandship" stalkers, the "accidental" brushers, the glass ceiling makers. Please dont let them ruin it for the rest of us. Happy Womens Day. #respect#compassion.”
Virat did not let his personal stress due to his split come in the way of his game and rescued the country from pressure situations.
Anushka reportedly called him to congratulate him on his match-winning performances and the estranged couple is likely to meet soon. According to a DNA report, the actress who is busy shooting for Salman Khan starrer ‘Sultan’ has taken a short break from the schedule. She will be utilising this break to meet Virat in order to sort out their messed up love life.
If the report turns out to be true, then good news might be in the offing.
