The makers of much awaited biopic ‘MS Dhoni - The Untold Story' have unveiled the poster of the Sushant Singh Rajput starrer movie. The poster comes with a tag line which says, ‘The man you know.. the journey you don't.’
The film depicts the struggles and the journey of one of India’s most successful cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni. Sushant portrays the character of Dhoni in his biopic.
In the poster, Sushant is seen sitting on a bench at a railway platform staring pensively at a passenger train. A long-haired Sushant is dressed in white pants and shirt with a tie and boots.
The ‘Kai Po Che’ actor took to Twitter to release the poster and wrote, “The Man You Know. The Journey You Don't. You need to know his story. #MSDhoniTheUntoldStoryPoster.”
Veteran actor Anupam Kher, who plays Dhoni’s father Pan Singh in the biopic also tweeted the poster writing, “1st look poster of my fav dir #NeerajPandey's film #MSDhoniTheUntoldStory-of our HERO. It has NO villain. Jai Ho.:)”
Actress Kiara Advani will be essaying the role of Dhoni's wife Sakshi Dhoni. Actor Herry Tangri, who has a striking resemblance with Dhoni’s team mate Yuvraj Singh will play the role of the all-rounder. Actress Bhumika Chawla of 'Tere Naam' fame and Tiger Shroff's alleged girlfriend Disha Patani are also a part of the cast.
The movie has been directed by Neeraj Pandey and co-produced by Fox Star Studios and Rhiti Sports, the company which manages Dhoni.
‘MS Dhoni - The Untold Story' is set to hit theatres on September 2.
