Kapil Sharma to have his wax statue at Madame Tussauds, London

Popular stand-up comedian Kapil Sharma is all set to join celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan, Sachin Tendulkar, Madhuri Dixit, at Madame Tussauds in London. The funny man will soon have his wax statue the world renowned wax museum.
Kapil will have the distinction of being the first Indian television personality to have his wax statue at the prestigious Madame Tussauds.  
According to a report on SpotboyE, a team from the museum flew down to Mumbai to get his measurements and click pictures. The proceedings went on in the city's posh J W Marriott Hotel. "These guys are so accurate. They even took measurements of his finger nails," a source told the entertainment portal.
The website has also shared a few pictures of the team’s session with Kapi. The work on Kapil’s statue has begun and it will be ready in about six months, after which it will be unveiled for the public, the report stated.
It was the same team which met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi for his statue earlier this year. PM Modi will join the ranks of prominent global leaders at Madame Tussauds in London, Singapore, Hong Kong and Bangkok next month, the famous wax museum announced on Wednesday.
Madame Tussauds, London also houses the wax replicas of superstars Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Kareena Kapoor and Katrina Kaif.
Kapil Sharma will be soon coming out with his new comedy show ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ on Sony TV.
