Mumbai pace bowler Dhawal Kulkarni got married to Shradha Kharpude in a traditional Marathi ceremony on Thrusday (March 3). The private wedding was attended by the couple’s family members and close friends. The bride and groom were dressed in traditional Maharashtrian attire.
Dhawal and Shradha, a fashion co-ordinator, met four years ago through a common friend. The couple got engaged in June last year.
Dhawal’s teammate Rohit Sharma, who is currently in Bangladesh for the Asia Cup T20 tournament, congratulated the newly-married couple on Twitter. "Wishing my buddy @dhawal_kulkarni and Shraddha a very happy married life! My FaceTime presence was felt," he tweeted.
The right-handed batsman also shared a pictures of the couple’s wedding ceremony on his Twitter handle.
