Arjun Kapoor and Athiya Shetty is the new B-town couple. According to the latest buzz, Arjun Kapoor is dating Suniel Shetty and Mana Shetty’s daughter Athiya Shetty. The 30-year-old Arjun and the 23-year-old Athiya are slowly taking their relationship forward. The couple was spotted hanging out in few occasions but due to Arjun’s busy schedule he is unable to spend enough time with Athiya. Arjun is currently busy with R Balki’s ‘Ki and Ka’.
Arjun and Athiya were lately spotted together at director Punit Malhotra’s birthday party. At the party, the couple remained connected to each other. Interestingly, at the same party Arjun’s ex-flame Sonakshi Sinha was also present but both avoided each other. Arjun Kapoor and Athiya Shetty want to keep their relationship a private affair and so they shied away from cameras at the party.
It is learnt that Arjun Kapoor’s sister Anshula played the cupid for the two since Athiya and Anshula were close friends for many years and consequently the new lovebirds came closer to each other.
Athiya is new to the industry and has only counted friends while Arjun who has been in the industry for quite sometime is helping Athiya to mingle with others. In the past, Arjun Kapoor dated Salman Khan’s sister Arpita Khan. But both break up and later Arpita married Delhi based Aayush Sharma. Now she is expecting her first baby with Aaysuh.
On the work front, Athiya who debuted with ‘Hero’ opposite Sooraj Pancholi is jobless. She is yet to be signed by any filmmaker while Arjun is quite busy with two movies, Chetan Bhagat’s adaptation ‘Half Girlfriend’ opposite Shraddha Kapoor and R Balki’s ‘Ki and Ka’ where he plays a house husband and Kareena a corporate woman.
