Sometime back, there were reports that a cold war was brewing between superstars Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan as their respective films ‘Raees’ and Sultan are set for a box office clash.
However, a picture of the two that is doing the rounds on internet proves otherwise. Shah Rukh apparently paid a surprise visit to his friend-turned-foe-turned-friend Salman on the sets of ‘Sultan’. The ‘Dilwale’ actor was shooting for his crime drama ‘Raees’ in Mumbai’s Film City. He decided to visit his friend after he came to know that Salman was also shooting nearby.
The picture was shared by the official Fan page of Shah Rukh Khan starrer film ‘Fan’. "Picture perfect! Jabra FAN @iamsrk meets Haryana ka sher Sultan @BeingSalmanKhan. @SultanTheMovie #FANmeetsSultan," read the caption.
The set in the photograph looks colourful and Shah Rukh is seen approaching Salman to hug him. The duo reportedly chatted for a long time and then, resumed work at their respective sets.
Noted trade analyst Taran Adarsh also tweeted the moment with the caption, “Jab #Fan and #Sultan met... #SRK#Salman#Friends#FanMeetsSultan.”
Salman had earlier released the trailer of ‘Fan’ on his Twitter handle. The trailer of Salman’s ‘Sultan’ will be attatched with ‘Fan’ movie. Both ‘Fan’ and ‘Sultan’ are productions of Yash Raj Films. Last year, Shah Rukh’s ‘Dilwale’ trailer was attached with the theatrical screening of Salman's ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’.
‘Fan’ directed by Maneesh Sharma is scheduled to hit screens on April 15. However, Salman’s ‘Sultan’ will clash with Shah Rukh’s ‘Raees’ at the box office on the occasion of Eid.
