in connection with a 17 year old trial in Arms Act case related to black buck poaching in Jodhpur, Salman Khan and his friends were asked to appear before the court on March 10 for recording their statements.
The chief judicial magistrate court would record the statements of all the accused on March 10 and on the basis of the recorded statement final argument will be taken up.
Previously, Salman Khan recorded statement in the chief judicial magistrate court (rural). On April 29 last year, Salman Khan recorded his statement stating himself innocent. But before the court could consider the actor’s plea, the defence had moved an application seeking re-examination of five prosecution witnesses of the case.
Salman had sought permission to resummon five witnesses in the case. The five witnesses were argued again. Now, the court has again ordered Salman Khan to appear before the court next Thursday for his statement in connection with the Arms Act case against him.
The Arms Act is not the only case that the Bollywood heartthrob Salman is entangled in. Under the Wildlife Protection Act, he has been convicted for a period of one year and five years. He was accused of poaching a black buck at Ghoda and two chinkaras at Bhawad. The incidents took place on the intervening nights of 28-29 and 26-27 September respectively in 1998. The decisions for these cases are pending since quite a long time.
Salman Khan and his co-stars have been accused of hunting three chinkaras and a blackbuck while shooting for the film ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’ near Kankani on the night of October 1-2, 1998
