Kareena Kapoor, who all thorough these months refused to comment on sister Karisma’s divorce finally broke her silence and spoke in length about Karisma-Sunjay’s divorce which eventually took an ugly turn.
For a long time Karisma Kapoor and Sunjay Kapur’s divorce has been occupying the headline. The estranged couple failed to come to a conclusion due to certain factors related to divorce. There were dissatisfaction on the issue of maintenance charge, children’s’ custody etc. Karisma and Sunjay last year filed a joint petition which was later withdrawn by the actress claiming that Sunjay failed to stand up to certain factors related to divorce plea.
Sunjay not only blamed Karisma for the failed marriage but also dragged Kareena Kapoor Khan to the whole divorce controversy. Recently, Supreme Court asked the duo to settle their divorce amicably.
Things turned ugly when Sunjay lashes out at Kareena and following his nasty comment dad and veteran actor Randhir Kapoor had lambasted his son-in-law. Kareena Kapoor now came out in support of her sister.
Before this Bebo never spoke in open about Lolo, she finally broke her silence. "It's a difficult time for her (Karisma) and it is tough. I have never really spoken about it. I am very protective about my sister. I hold her with too much respect and regard. Whatever has been written about it or whatever has been said about her, both Karisma and I have never said anything, and I would like to always maintain that," she said.
The next hearing for the case set by Supreme Court is April 8 just a week before Bebo's next film ‘Ki and Ka’ will be hitting theatres.
