March 8th is INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY world over, and the IMC Ladies’ Wing with President, Mrs. Shalini Piramal has been passionately involved in making it more than just a celebration. Therefore, the lovely and gorgeous members of IMC spearheaded by their President, Mrs. Piramal organised a night of music and honoured a lady who is now hailed as a legend in the music world, Ms. Anuradha Paudwal.
IMPACT by IMC Ladies' Wing was celebrated last night on Wednesday, 2nd March 2016 from5:30 pm onwards at Nehru Centre Auditorium, Worli, Mumbai. The theme for Impact was “Make peace with music”, as music is undeniably one of mankind's greatest healing modalities and a source of joy and inspiration.
Dr. Rahul Joshi and his team entertained the members of IMC and other eminent guests with an evening called Suhana Safar – A musical journey wherein evergreen songs of Kishore Kumar, Md. Rafi, Lata Mangeshkar & other iconic singers and soulful Sufi songs
IMC President, Mrs. Shalini Piramal and IMC President Mr. Dilip Piramal, Mrs. Amruta Fadnavis and veteran actor Jeetendra who came to lend his support felicitated the talented and legendary singer Ms. Anuradha Paudwal and Padma Shri Anandji Virji Shah for their outstanding contribution to the Indian music industry for decades.
Also present in all their finery were Asha Patel, Rajyalaxmi Rao, Bijal Doshi wearing a beautiful champagne coloured ensemble, Kaushika Hemdev, Kavita Paudwal with her children and husband, power couple Niraj and Minal Bajaj, Shravan Rathod, Malti Jain, Past president Darshana Doshi and more.
The Indian Merchants' Chamber President duo and yet another power couple, Mrs. Shalini Piramal with husband, Mr. Dilip Piramal were all smiles and Shalini looked resplendent in her all white and beige lengha style sari creation
