Anushka masters ‘dhobi pachad’ for ‘Sultan’

Bollywood actress Anushka Sharmawill be seen in the role of a wrestler in the upcoming film ‘Sultan’, which also stars superstar Salman Khan. The actress had been sweating it out at the training sessions round the clock for six weeks. And now she has “mastered” the art of ‘dhobi pachad, according to director Ali Abbas Zafar.
Director Ali Abbas took to Twitter to share a picture of Anushka grappling with an opponent during the shooting of a wrestling bout and described her as “Haryane ki Sherni.”  
“Haryane ki Sherni  “dhobi pachad master" @AnushkaSharma in action @SultanTheMovie,” he wrote along with the picture.
The ‘Band Baaja Baarat’ actress also responded to the post on her Twitter timeline and admitted that she couldn't have imagined herself doing this two months ago.
“Couldn't have imagined I could do this 2 months ago.Feeling blessed,” Anushka tweeted.
Reportedly, Anushka suffered a shoulder injury while shooting for an action sequence. She was performing a stunt and refused to use a body double for the action scene, which resulted in a shoulder injury.
Anushka had been training with a team of wrestlers who were brought down from Delhi for a six-week period who helped her get into the skin of her character. She also expressed gratitude towards them for teaching her the combat sport.
‘Sultan’, a Yash Raj Films production also stars Randeep Hooda and is slated to release in July on the occasion of Eid.
