Central Bank of India drew their match with Kenkre FC in the ongoing prestigious Elite Division Football League Tournament conducted by Mumbai District Football Association at the Cooperage ground, Mumbai.
In an exciting and evenly contested match, wherein both the teams playing with young players, Central Bank having an edge over their rivals and being very unfortunate in scoring goals conceded an early goal against the trend of the match scored by Egypsio Naronha of Kenkre FC. Down by a goal the young players of the Bank rejuvenated themselves and came back into the game and missed chances time and again but made amends by equalising by a gem of a header goal scored by defender John Fernandes in the dying minutes of the game.
Central Bank of India has earned 18 points out of 11 matches in the league table wherein 14 Top teams of Mumbai are fighting for honours in the prestigious Elite Division Football League Tournament 2015-16
